Rahgozar is a VPN app for Android. It uses Android's VpnService to route your device's network traffic through a server you choose. This page explains exactly what the app collects, what it does not, and what you can do about it.

Your IP address is visible to our server in the same way it is visible to any service you connect to. We use it to work out which country you are connecting from.
We keep one record per installation of the app. It holds the public key your device generated, the identifier we issue in return, the app's package name and signing fingerprint, the app version and Android API level, the country we worked out, the most recent IP address we saw, and the times we first and last saw that installation.
Only the most recent IP address is kept. Each time the app syncs, it replaces the one before it — we do not build a history of the addresses you have connected from. The record carries no name, no account and nothing else that identifies you as a person, because the app asks for none of those.
Rahgozar is supported by advertising and uses the Google AdMob SDK. AdMob collects your device's advertising identifier and standard signals in order to select and measure ads. Google's handling of that data is described in Google's privacy policy.
Ads are shown inside the Rahgozar app only. We do not inject advertising into other apps, into websites you visit, or into your traffic in any way.
You can reset or delete your advertising identifier at any time in your Android settings, under Settings → Privacy → Ads.

That list is complete: the app uses no advertising mediation network and no service beyond those four. Where a third party receives data, it receives it to perform that one task and is not permitted to use it for anything else.
Analytics records which screens you open and which actions you take inside Rahgozar — connecting, changing server, opening settings. It counts what people do with the app so we can see which parts are used and which are not. It does not, and cannot, see anything about the traffic that travels through the tunnel.
Crash reporting sends a report when the app fails. That report contains the stack trace of the failure, the state the app was in, and technical details of the device and Android version. It is the record of a fault in our software, not a record of you.
Both are tied to an identifier for your installation rather than to you: there is still no name, no email address and no account anywhere in this app.
Tapping an ad opens a website we do not run, and the same is true of the help and support links in the app's menu. We have no control over those sites and take no responsibility for them — if you follow one, its own privacy policy applies, not this one.
Rahgozar lets you choose which installed apps go through the tunnel and which keep their normal network route. To show you that choice, the app reads the list of apps installed on your device, using the QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES permission.
That list is read on your device, displayed on your device, and used on your device to build the routing rules. It is never transmitted anywhere. We have no record of what any user has installed.
We use means of protection we consider appropriate to what we hold, which is deliberately very little. We should still say plainly what is true of any service: no method of transmitting data over the internet, and no method of storing it electronically, is completely secure, and so we cannot promise absolute security.
The record described in section 1 is kept until you ask us to delete it. Uninstalling the app does not remove it: our server is never told that an uninstall happened, so the record simply stops being updated and stays where it is.
You may ask us to delete it at any time. Write to the address in section 9 and we will. Because the app holds no personal information, we may ask you for the installation identifier shown in the app so we can find the right record.
Rahgozar is not directed at children. It is rated for users aged 18 and over and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has used the app, write to us at the address in section 9 and we will delete the installation record. There is nothing else to delete: the app has no accounts and never asks anyone, of any age, for personal information.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will also be announced in the app.

Rahgozar is not offered for use in Belarus, China, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Bangladesh, India, Iraq, Russia or Canada. If you are in one of those countries, please do not use the app. We apologise for the inconvenience.
